The joy, the beauty, of personal style is that it is yours and yours alone.

Only your body, your personality can make the clothes that you wear tell a story.

So you see, I can post pretty picture after pretty picture of accessories and items of clothing but it is your amazing body that brings them to life.

Recently a college friend started a blog with several other women – Confessions of a Curvy Girl. I immediately added it to my folder of daily reading. That folder is titled Style Blogs and Resources.

I’ve no doubt that my college friend and her fellow authors would be surprised by this characterization of their blog. Their writing speaks to the truths, both beautiful and disconcerting, with which the average woman grapples – a woman with real life curves and all the “baggage” that entails.

But you see, how we deal with the issues of being real women, dealing with a very real world, builds our character and shows our strength.

And that is true style.
