I think I may have mentioned that I don’t really do makeup on a regular basis. I will obssess over my outfit and spend hours pulling together the jewelry to accompany it. But I’m lucky if I remember to swipe on face powder, much less blush.

But the one thing I will never leave the house without is mascara. I love mascara. I love it without thinking too much about it, if that makes sense. I have no loyalty to fancy brands or drugstore brands.

Right now my arsenal includes Benefit’s They’re Real Mascara, Maybelline Stiletto Mascara, and my newest find — Maybelline Colossal Volum: Cat Eyes.

I am in love with this mascara. I know it has been on the market for awhile but it is new to me. I honestly bought it for evening outings buut this morning I accidently grabbed it and applied to one of my eyes before I realized.

It was fine for day wear and I just applied two coats – in fact the winging to my outer lashes really helped make my eyes look awake and alert!

I am quite pleased!
