I tend to stick with themes. I’ll wear the same jewelry combo over several days. Call it lazy. Call it comforting. Call it OCD. Sometimes that “consistency” shows up on the blog — like this week for instance!
Anytime I attend a wedding I become a soggy, sappy mess remembering my own. It was truly perfect. I would not redo anything about it. I just kind of wish the whole wearing multiple wedding dresses had been a thing back then. But it was not so I got to wear my one perfect dress.
However, if I could have, I would have swung these beauties in to the day’s rotation!

Our first dance – “At Last” by Etta James – after a three year long-distance relationship it was quite appropriate!
Hard to see but I had a long, simple veil that sort of wafted around my shoulders then pooled in the short train of the dress.
