I had to step away from the blog last week. Sometimes I need to prioritize being “work me” or “mom me” or “wife me” or “blogger me”. Last week “work me” won the lottery. “Wife me” and “mom me” won a scratch off card. But “blogger me” was number 600 on a charter school wait list (sorry, that’s a DC parent inside joke!).
Here is what “mom me” did this Saturday – went to La C’s soccer practice which is absolutely my new favorite thing to do!!!!!!
Last week big sis told me her one and only wanted to know if I wanted his old LL Bean dot sweater.
The man gets me.
So I took my cue from the sweater and went preppy vintage on Saturday – swap out the Kate Spade for my old Coach stewardess bag and I pretty much could be a snapshot of myself from 1990.
