I have a question for you.

What do you think about all the leather in fashion right now?

I am not asking from an ethical what have you point of view – so if you want to have that discussion, fine, but that is not what I am asking here.

I am more interested in the placement of leather in garments not traditionally seen in mainstream fashion – such as, peplum tops, skater skirts, dresses.

Now I do love leather!! I purchased my first black leather motorcycle jacket my sophomore year of high school and bought my first handsewn pair of bottle green leather gloves when I studied art history in Florence in college.

But I am still on the fence about leather in the form of less traditional / common styles.
