The first of the year usually means a fancy new calendar to keep us on schedule.
After decades of trying different calendar systems – all paper, I have to write it down to cement it in my brain – over the past couple of years I have finally settled (for now) on Erin Condren’s Life Planner. The added bonus is that it is available in 16-month format.
Nothing makes me happier than color coding my daily planner – filling in block after block, whittling away the month so that I know exactly what is coming and what I need to do to prepare for it.
Yes, I am a luddite.
An obsessive compulsive luddite.
But I digress.
You know what else you should get every January?
A new watch.
And no, I don’t want to hear that you already have a clock on your cell phone. Tis not an accessory.
A watch is an accessory. I have twelve. And counting.
And yes, I match my watch to my outfit.
