I have been a longtime admirer of Boden clothes, shoes and accessories. Mind you, it has been a bit of a fickle relationship. On the one hand, my favorite dress coat and one that I get comments on every single time I wear it, is from Boden. Some of my favorite swimsuits (surprising, I know!) are from Boden. But sometimes, I will log on to the site and find it to be a bit too…chipper. Too bright. Too cute. I am 5’9″ and of what they call a “healthy build”. Bright and cute I am not.
Yet, every season I check in to see what is what in Boden land. I thought would drop in on the transition season from winter to early spring. I am super pleased with finding some excellent pieces!
These pants are a wonderful pop of color in the dregs of winter and a harbinger of better weather in early spring. The cut and fabric make them a near universal win for most body types

A thing that Boden does well is a button down shirt.
In an age of hybrid work and toned down office attire it is difficult to pull together a professional look without feeling over or under dressed. Boden has some good pieces to walk this line.

Stripes seem to be a moment. I’ve always loved a good stripe. But now I have a daughter who abhors stripes. This gives me pause to try to find stripes that appeal to stripe averse folks.
Who among us isn’t thinking about the gentle breezes of spring…never too early to prepare for that.
