The bright light at the end of a battered week — I am having a much needed date night with the love of my life. We will swill, chill, and thrill with a long dinner at a Todd Kliman recommended spot followed by a viewing of the new Tin Tin movie.

I thought of you last night and wished I could ask you about 4 dozen questions as I packed for a 10-day trip to Thailand that involves 5 days in smoggy Bangkok consisting of business meetings, a work-related visit to an industrial site and several work dinners in 90 degree weather and high humidity. Then 5 days on the islands with my man for SCUBA, rock climbing, yoga and lots of R&R. Talk about difficult to pack for! Oh — and it’s 34 degrees here and I limited my trip shopping budget to $200.
