I have a new crush – her name is Hilary Levey Friedman. She wrote a piece on parenting her son without sticking to strict gender stereotypes. The piece is straightforward, not in your face, rationale, and non-judgmental. Of note: I had a twitter first – When I disputed a commenter on Friedman’s piece, I was called a b*tch on Twitter. Good news – Twitter has really stepped up their game on dealing with harassers when you report them.

Why do I love Etsy? Because I stumble upon the most beautiful, random, jewelry.

I despise wires. Electrical wires. Computer wires. Charging cords. I even wish earphones came without cords. I dream of living in a completely wireless world. So this random set of cool ways to hide gadgets makes me oh so happy!

There is a new country song that is just plain awesome. Maddie & Tae, two young artists new on the scene have crafted a catchy parody of how females are depicted in country songs. For a country music lover who was wooed by Reba Mcentire, Suzy Bogguss, Martina McBride and Jo Dee Messina, Girl in a Country Song, is a well crafted reminder that it takes two equal partners to two-step.
