Thanks to a mother who encouraged a love of travel, I have had the good fortune to spend a good deal of time abroad – from studying in Florence, Italy to exploring the temples of Kyoto.
Through some of these travels I discovered Zara before it hit the US.
Well, you cannot NOT shop in France!
I liken Zara to Willy Wonka’s Chocolate Factory.
It is as if you think it…and they design and sell it.
If Zara’s spring preview is anything to go by, I will be in style heaven! Catch these pieces now before they disappear!
Oh the perfection of this blazer. The sharp cut. The finished edges. The gold buttons. Oh the places you will go in this jacket!
Structured Blazer in Navy – Zara $129
While it stops just short of Great Aunt Edna’s guest room drapes, this dress just speaks to me.
Printed Front Pleat Dress w/Pocket – Zara $99.90
Oh hell yes.
Tube Dress with Tucked Neckline – Zara $79.90
Forget lingerie. Slip this sexy little thing on with a pair of boyfriend jeans and you will ooze laid back sex appeal.
Knotted Silk Shirt – Zara $99.90
This skirt says Spring 2015 in spades. Wear it to work, brunch, church, date night!
PS – The shoes are dreadful.
Striped Full Midi Skirt – Zara $79.90
The “It” shape in a fantastic super saturated color!
Mock Croc City Bag – Zara $79.90
I had to share one more – when I was scrolling through the bags I stopped dead at this and started to tear up. This is the exact same bag – shape, ostrich leather, color – I lusted after in the early 90’s. Oh, to see it here was such a flashback moment. Maybe this time I won’t have to wait a few decades to get it!
Leather Messenger Bag – Zara $199
Black tube dress is devine!
(Shoes aren’t THAT bad. Are they?!)
