This time of year I envy kids and college students returning to school.

The fresh notebooks, clickable pens with velvety ink, the scent of newly sharpened pencils, rulers, desk organizers, slick folders, colorful paper clips, and so it goes.

When else do we get to prepare ourselves for the onslaught of the coming year?

However, even though not returning to school, are we not all in need of girding ourselves for the coming waves of challenges that fall foretells?
