Boot Scoot

My recommended boot wardrobe.

Remember that boots are an investment. You may be putting out a large amount of funds for a pair, but if you treat them right, that pair of boots will give you years of return on your investment. About two years ago I finally let go of a pair of boots I’d had since college. And I am way past college graduation day.

Always have your boots treated by a cobbler before you wear them – this will protect the leather from the weather elements. At the end of the season have the soles repaired if needed and the leather oiled / polished and store your boots in cloth boot bags over the warmer months.

Obviously, you do not need every boot highlighted below in your closet. Pick the style you feel you will wear the most and that is the most versatile with your wardrobe.

  1. Obviously I LOVE the Balada boot but the little ankle one from Zara is darling….now throw in a picture or two of a good Cowboy boot from Country Outfitters and you have it all covered!!
Excellent reminders of how the care given to a good boot is critical.
    Nice blog 🙂
