I despise the term “mom jeans”.
Mainly because it is a subtle slam on the perceived style of mothers.
So you can imagine that I take exquisite joy in the fact that “high waisted” (read: covers your derriere and your underwear all in one handy style) are at the top of the trend train.
Because we all know that “high waisted” is the 2014 term for “mom jeans”.
Oh yes we do.
But I digress because what I really want to highlight is the company at the forefront of finding the middle ground for women in their 30s and 40s who sought current styles in an appropriate cut/fit.
Enter Not Your Daughter’s Jeans. Or NYDJ as the now well-established brand has fashioned itself.
